PRESS RELEASE / ONE-SHEET PRAY FOR ME
We hereby represent the 18-year-old Kristin Husøy as one of the artists of the 60th edition of ‘Melodi Grand Prix’, the pre-show of world’s biggest song writing contest Eurovision. With an average of 200 million viewers, Eurovision 2020 will take place on May 16, 2020 in Rotterdam. MGP is the most watched television show in Norway with 1.5 million viewers out of a population of 5 million people.
Kristin Husøy will perform “Pray For Me” at MGP’s 3rd semi-final show on January 25, 2020. She will be announced on January 20, 2020 through a live press conference. The final of MGP show will be on February 15, 2020. During the whole MGP time period, the song will be pushed by NRK on national Radio & TV.
The song creates a dark and fun sentiment by its edgy cool and fun lyrics. It captures the emotions of a typical heart wreaking relationship. The song is written to actively involve the listener by hymning along with the singer in the chorus while marching your feet to the pulse of the beat. We advise you to exactly respond to her when she sings ‘Somebody Pray For Me’. Kristin Husøy’s fantastic soulful vocals makes it a memorial song and is ready to share it with the world!
Kristin Husøy has chosen not to be actively involved in social media. This will be part of her artist identity which will be simple and mysterious.

“Pray For Me” is written by mainly Dutch writers named Roel Rats, Marcia Thadea Angèle Sondeijker, Galeyn Tenhaeff and Neil Hollyn and is produced by Roulsen (NL), composed by Galeyn Tenhaeff. Roel Rats and Marcia Thadea Angèle Sondeijker wrote the Irish entry “22” by Sarah McTernan in Eurovision 2019.
